The Smyrna Utilities service area has had lower than normal precipitation. The National Drought Mitigation Center identifies the Smyrna Utilities area as currently experiencing a “D1- Moderate Drought”.

Drought Alert: The Smyrna Utilities service area has had lower than normal precipitation. The National Drought Mitigation Center identifies the Smyrna Utilities area as currently experiencing a “D1- Moderate Drought”. As identified in the Smyrna Utilities Drought Management Plan, the Smyrna Utilities wants to notify its customers of the current Phase 1 – Drought Alert. While currently no action is required to conserve water, further drought may result in Smyrna Utilities moving to Phase II – Voluntary Water Reductions. At this time, there is no change required by Smyrna Utilities.
