Smyrna will celebrate one of its most popular fall traditions later this month with the 29th Annual Halloween in the Park. The event takes place Saturday, October 25, from 3 to 8:30 PM at Sharp Springs Natural Area, 1000 Espey Drive. It is sponsored by the Smyrna Gas Department.
Activities will include trick-or-treating, a corn maze, pie-eating contests, hayrides, and a costume contest for all ages — including pets. Hayrides will run from 3 PM until dusk for non-scary rides, and from dusk to 8:30 PM for the scary version. Admission for hayrides is $5. More than 70 food and craft vendors will also be on site.
Costume contests begin at 3:15 PM for children ages 0–3 and continue through the evening, including group and pet categories.
