Smyrna Receives Two Awards at United Way Annual Luncheon

On August 16th, the Town of Smyrna was honored with two awards at the United Way Recognition Luncheon in Murfreesboro: The Rise Award, which is presented to a company that makes tremendous strides in its employee campaign. The TOS had a 68% increase in its campaign total from the previous year. Some events included a cook off, a pancake breakfast, a cook out and a golf scramble. Smyrna also received the Bronze Award – The Town of Smyrna’s Campaign was the 11th best in the country.
