The Town of Smyrna has added 16 new Veteran’s Parking spaces to honor and support those who have served in the armed forces. The designated spaces are intended to make it easier for veterans to access Town facilities and events while showing appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
Veteran’s Parking is now available at the Smyrna Event Center, Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center, Lee Victory Recreation Park (Freedom Playground, Shelter 3/Tennis Courts, Freedom Softball Complex), Rotary Soccer Park and Rotary Soccer Park Annex, Smyrna Justice Center, Smyrna Town Hall, and Cedar Stone Park (Baseball Complex and Playground Restroom/Tennis-Pickleball Courts).
Town officials say the initiative is a small way to recognize and thank veterans for their contributions to the community and the country.
