A Smyrna school bus driver and 8-10 students were injured in a school bus crash in Smyrna on Monday morning,10/24.
According to officials, two cars were involved in a wreck at the intersection of Old Nashville Highway and Hazelwood Drive. One of those vehicles lost control and hit the school bus on the driver’s side.
The bus was reportedly heading to Smyrna High School.
Reports show none of the injuries were serious and the bus driver suffered a possible broken leg. No official statement has been released from Rutherford County Schools on the incident as of yet.
