Slim Chickens opened it’s doors earlier this week in Murfreesboro. The chicken franchise from Arkansas , boasts made to order tenders, handmade sauces, wings, chicken and waffles and more. Desserts include homemade fried pies, a different flavor every day, and Jar Dessert. A Jar Dessert is layers of seasonal fruit, cake and whipped cream served in a mason jar. This is the first Slim Chickens in the state of Tennessee. They are located at 229 North Thompson Lane. There is plenty of seating with a covered outdoor patio and TVs for sports watching while you eat.
