Siegel has self-reported a violation of the TSSAA football practice regulations and it will cost them five practice days in the spring of 2020.

In a letter to Siegel principal Larry Creasy from TSSAA Executive Director Bernard Childress, Siegel practiced twice on Monday, July 23rd once in helmets and once in helmets and shoulder pads.

The Stars practiced three times on July 24th, once in helmets and two practices in helmets and shoulder pads.

Siegel is the second school to self report a violation of the TSSAA football practice regulations recently as Milan self-reported last week and will have to forfeit a week of practice and two allowed dates for 7 on 7 in June 2020.
