After three unproductive seasons at Siegel, Michael Copley has resigned as the Stars head football coach.
The Stars were 8-22 in three seasons under Copley and defeated first-year program Rockvale 45-27 in the regular-season finale last Friday to finish 1-9 this season.
“ I really appreciate my time at Siegel and the parents’ support over the last three years,” Copley said. “I appreciate all the kids that stayed with us during that time and all the effort and hard work they put in but at the end of the day, I think its time that they hear another voice for the program.”
The next Stars coach will try to get the program back to the playoffs a place they haven’t been since 2016.
