At approximately 11:30 a.m. this morning MPD officers responded to Victoria Secret at The Avenue on Medical Center Pkwy in reference to a shooting incident.
Officers discovered that two male suspects were observed stealing from Victoria Secret by a private citizen armed with a handgun. This individual confronted the suspects outside the store. The suspects fled to a waiting car, which was driven by a female accomplice.
The suspect vehicle attempted to flee the parking area and the individual who had previously confronted the suspects, shot one round at the fleeing vehicle. The fleeing car struck two other vehicles as it escaped the parking area.
It is unknown if the vehicle or anyone inside it was struck by the bullet fired at the vehicle.
The Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident.
The suspect vehicle is a silver Nissan Sentra with a temp tag. Photos and/or video may be released at a later time.
