Southeastern Young Adult Book Festival held the author reveal for their fourth annual festival at Barnes & Noble.
The festival, which will take place March 7-9, 2019, will feature 40 authors of middle grade and young adult literature.
The list includes Renee Ahdieh, Arvin Ahmadi, Becky Albertalli, David Arnold, Tracy Barrett, Ashley Herring Blake, Gwenda Bond, Ann Braden, Jen Calonita, Sharon Cameron, Soman Chainani, Joelle Charbonneau, Cinda Williams Chima, Brandy Colbert, Melanie Crowder, S.E. Green, Ellen Hagan, Nathan Hale, Greg Howard, Justina Ireland, Linda Williams Jackson, Tiffany D. Jackson, Heather Kaczynski, Alex London, Andrew Maraniss, Sarah Glenn Marsh, Mindy McGinnis, David Barclay Moore, Mark Oshiro, C.J. Redwine, Megan Shepherd, Adam Silvera, Ronald L. Smith, Courtney Stevens, Kristin Tubb, Renee Watson, Allan Wolf, Ashley Woodfolk, Jeff Zentner and Kat Zhang.
Student Days at the festival are Thursday and Friday, March 7-8. Registration is free and required for Student Days and opens Jan. 15, 2019.
Public Day is also free and will take place on Saturday, March 8.
SE-YA Book Fest is a one-of-a kind event held on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University.
It is designed to place teens and authors of young adult literature in a setting to interact about what they love most — young adult literature. The primary goal of the festival is to encourage and develop literacy in young adults by connecting them with authors, thereby advancing education in the community.
