February 17, 2025 – A car fleeing from police ran a red light and crashed into a truck on Sunday.
The crash happened at the intersection of S. Rutherford Boulevard and SE Broad Street. The driver of the car fled the scene on foot and has not been located.
Several people in the truck were taken to the hospital with injuries. Their conditions have not been released.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and authorities continue to search for the driver who fled.
