The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2955 S. Church St. in Murfreesboro will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, for 17 employers seeking to fill more than 400 positions in Rutherford, Wilson, Bedford and Williamson counties.
Employers include Quality Staffing, Onin Staffing, Surge Staffing, Elwood Staffing, Universal Logistics, Murfreesboro City Schools, Life Care Center of Hickory Woods, Schwan Cosmetics, Atlas Management, Hamilton-Ryker, Liberty Tax Service, United Truck Driving School, 2020 U.S. Census, United States Cold Storage, At Home Health Care, Priority Staffing and Goodwill.
Openings include light industrial, forklift, assembly, clerical, warehouse, production technician, custodian, dietary aide, nursing, airport baggage tech, tax preparer, recruiting manager and other positions. Rates of pay reach $23 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
