October 7, 2025 – A semi-truck crash has brought traffic to a standstill on I-24 in Rutherford County just before the South Church Street exit ramp on Tuesday morning.
The truck is reported to be leaking diesel, causing significant delays as emergency crews work to contain the spill and clear the wreckage.
Drivers are being diverted off I-24 at Joe B. Jackson Parkway onto U.S. Highway 41. The detour is expected to add heavy congestion on Manchester Highway and Southeast Broad Street.
