1. Historic Ghost Walk Tour – Downtown Murfreesboro Square
WHAT: This is a 90-minute casual walk on city streets and sidewalks. Your host is an experienced certified paranormal investigator. You will hear about local history, folk lore and of course, some ghost stories about the locations visited during the tour. Tickets are $10 per person and must be pre-purchased at www.murfreesboroghosttours.com
Tours are held the first Friday of each month. Once tickets are purchased online, purchasers will receive an email confirmation with information about where and when to meet your guide.

WHAT: Movies Under the Stars returns this summer with a lineup of family-oriented shows. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, or truck bed. Refreshments are available for purchases.

4. The Big Run
WHAT: Be a part of something Big.
For the third year, Fleet Feet and Brooks will come together on June 5 to host The Big Run. The annual nationwide 5K brings thousands of runners together on Global Running Day to do what we love most—run.
Last year, 16,000 runners logged 25,000 miles at more than 100 events in more than 20 states. Help us top that number this year.

5. City Park Tour
WHAT: Looking for a new running/walking route? This June discover a Murfreesboro City Park that you may have not been to before. Partnering with the Better Boro Project, Murfreesboro Parks and Rec is offering four city park tour events in which you may run or walk each route from 6 -7 p.m… you decide the distance. Participate in each event for $5, or all 4 for $15. A t-shirt will be given to those who participate in all four.
This week’s route is Central Valley Trailhead.
