1. Family Campfire

WHAT: Join the SOAC staff around the campfire for games, fun, and yummy s’mores! All ages welcome. Cost: $2 Registration suggested through Community Pass. EVENT IS CANCELLED IF IT RAINS. Contact mike.kraft@townofsmyrna.org for more information.

2. Fish and Chicken Fry

WHAT: Come enjoy this incredible fish fry with La Vergne Rescue. Enjoy great fish, fixings, and friendship. Cost for the fish fry: Adults $12, kids 6-12 $6, and kids under 6 are free.

3. Kids Club: Princesses & Superheroes Party

WHAT: Children are invited to don their favorite princess or superhero costume during this magical Princesses & Superheroes Party. Meet a real princess and superhero, enjoy complimentary face painting, and more during this family-friendly event. Admission is FREE. Stones River Town Centre requires that all children be supervised by an adult.

4. Uncle Dave Macon Days

WHAT: Uncle Dave Macon Days, a roots rendezvous which honors traditional American music and the career of the first superstar of the Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Famer, Uncle Dave Macon. This year marks the 41st Anniversary of the annual Uncle Dave Macon Days festival starting with small beginnings which attracted only a few old-time music enthusiasts on the lawn of the Courthouse in 1978. Other family-oriented events taking place throughout the festival include: heritage activities for children, mouth-watering local concessions, a juried arts and crafts show in Matilda Macon’s Artisan Village, Dave Macon’s Marketplace, and a historic photo exhibit. Along with the lively festival competitions and the National Championships in music and dance, Saturday evening promises to be one of the best highlighting the talent who have made Uncle Dave Macon Days a success for the past 41 years. Kids under 12 free and everyone else is $10.

5. Murfreesboro Import Alliance After Meet

WHAT: Import Alliance is back this weekend. After you finish and enjoy your time there, join the NFG Crew for an After Meet in Murfreesboro. Come hang out and meet someone new. Look at cars, talk cars.  NFG asks you to follow the rules: be respectful of the location, No Tire smoke of any kind, no revving and no loud music.
