Step into a night of ghostly glamour and forbidden revelry at Oaklands Mansion. This exclusive Halloween speakeasy experience includes specialty cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music by The Quarterlife Band, and tarot readings by Asatra Delacroix. Small groups of 50 guests per hour will be admitted, with reservations at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm. Admission is $75 for adults 21 and over. 1920’s casual cocktail attire is requested. Celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month with a day of live music, history, and art! The Home Sweet Home Band will perform concerts at 11 am and 2 pm, sharing songs that once moved soldiers and civilians during the Civil War, along with modern pieces inspired by that era. Between concerts, watch volunteer cannon crews bring history to life with artillery firing demonstrations at 10 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, and 3 pm. Inside the visitor center, view Civil War-era artwork alongside modern works inspired by the battlefield and its stories.
