Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate America’s independence with an evening of live music, food vendors, family activities and a fireworks show at dusk during Smyrna’s annual Independence Day Celebration. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.

4th of July Stroller Parade

Kick off Independence Day weekend with a family-friendly stroller parade at Fountains at Gateway. Families are invited to decorate bikes, strollers, scooters and other ride-ons before gathering on the green in front of Soda Bar. Popsicles and goodies will be provided before the parade begins at 11:30 a.m., and giveaway winners will be announced before the walk. After the parade, attendees can enjoy 10% off at Soda Bar and cool off at the splash pad.

Friday Night Live Concert featuring Entice

Enjoy a free evening of live music as Entice takes the stage during the Friday Night Live Concert series in downtown Murfreesboro. The family-friendly event welcomes guests to dance in front of the stage or bring a chair and relax while enjoying the performance. Parking is available in the two downtown parking garages.

Celebration Under the Stars

Don’t miss Celebration Under the Stars with an evening of music, family fun and fireworks. The event will feature a DJ, food trucks and the splash pad from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a live performance from John Foster at 7:30 p.m. The night will conclude with a fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. Hosted by Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation and Middle Tennessee Electric, the event celebrates America’s 250th year of independence.

Fourth of July Tailgate Party

Saturday, July 4, 5:00 PM
Cedar Glade Brews
906 Ridgely Road, Murfreesboro, TN

Tailgate and celebrate America at Cedar Glade Brews featuring live music, food and a view of the Murfreesboro fireworks. The party begins at 5 p.m., followed by a performance from Roland Justice & Friends from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Guests can enjoy food from 1811 Wood-Fired Oven before watching the fireworks at 9 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of beer, music and community.
