Spend an evening among the flowers during U-Pick Dates at Little Star Farm, where visitors can stroll through blooming fields and create their own bouquets. Admission is $25 and includes entry for one guest, a 20-ounce cup and the opportunity to fill it with as many flowers as it can hold. Additional non-picking guests are $5, while children ages 4 and under are free. The event offers a relaxing outdoor experience perfect for individuals, couples and families. Guests should wear farm-friendly clothing and shoes, as some paths are grassy or uneven. The event is rain or shine unless severe weather occurs.

Children and families can explore art and science during Solar Printing at the Wilderness Station at Barfield Crescent Park. Participants will use special light-sensitive paper and objects found in nature to create unique artwork while learning about the effects of the sun’s UV light. Torque & Tacos brings together motorcycles, food and community at Bumpus Harley-Davidson of Murfreesboro. The event will feature food from Las Máscaras Taqueria, free lunch for the first 25 participants, a happy hour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a Harley swag raffle. The Rutherford County Garden Extravaganza will offer a free day of gardening education, exhibits and hands-on learning hosted by the Master Gardeners of Rutherford County. Guests can explore topics including Tennessee Smart Yards, attracting birds and pollinators, rain barrels, stormwater management, soil testing and recycling in the garden. The event will also feature guided garden tours, educational speakers and opportunities to connect with local gardening experts for tips and ideas to use at home.
