
Eight Rutherford County Sheriff’s deputies graduated Friday from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) and are now officially state-certified law enforcement officers. The graduates are:
• Deputy Tyler Armstrong
• Deputy Ryan Bauer
• Deputy James MacDavid
• Deputy Daniel Mantor
• Deputy Dylan Pratt
• Deputy Tyler Purvis
• Deputy Natalie Woodward
• Deputy Nickolas Davenport
The deputies completed nine weeks of basic orientation and additional weeks training with a field training officer at the Sheriff’s Office. Their 12-week TLETA coursework included classes on laws, legal issues, firearms, crisis intervention, domestic violence tactics, criminal investigations, gangs, traffic stops, defensive tactics, and physical training.
