MPD officers and detectives investigated two armed robberies early Thursday morning. The suspect was caught by responding officers (and the second victim, see link above) and arrested following an investigation into both incidents. MPD Detective Larry Maples charged Alexandro Antoine this afternoon and he was booked into the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office. Please seek mug shots and bond amounts from the RCSO.
Antoine played for MTSU from 2012-2015. According to goblueraiders.com, in 2013 he earned Most Improved Defensive Lineman Award following spring drills … 2012 – Earned Named the Most Improved Defensive Lineman at the conclusion of spring drills. In 2013 he started 12 of 13 games and had 9 solo tackles in the bowl game against Navy.
In 2014 a knee injury sidelined Antoine against BYU 9 games into the season, and by 2015 only started one game and missed the bowl game due to team violations.
