Emergency crews responded to an oil spill in Rutherford County Friday.
It happened at Buckeye Valley Road and Sulphur Springs Road. Deputies say 30 to 40 gallons of oil spilled into the roadway, creating a traffic hazard.
Rutherford County Emergency Management Agency, Fire-Rescue, EMS, and sheriff’s deputies worked together to clear the scene. The road reopened hours later.
