Road To The TSSAA Championship: Baseball Sectionals

Baseball state sectionals were held Friday night, with the winners advancing to next week’s TSSAA Spring Fling State Championship rounds.

Class A Baseball

Eagleville came off a 12-1 loss to Forrest Wednesday night to face Loretto and they were less than welcoming. The Eagles lost 10-0 to Loretto. The Eagles finish the season at 19-17.

Class AA Baseball

Central Magnet Goes For 5th Straight Spring Fling Trip

Class AAA Baseball

Blackman 4 Walker Valley 1 : 

Blackman continued it’s strong run, and will be a favorite at Spring Fling next week. P Wright threw a one-hitter thru 6 1/3 innings pitched. 1B Lindsey scored 1  and drove one in. RP Junker drove in 2 more and got the save.

Blackman’s will find out who they face at Spring fling this weekend.

Stewarts Creek 6  Ooltewah 4 in 10 innings:

It took 10 innings. But, in the end it was all worth it, as the Red Hawks became the 3rd team from Rutherford to make Spring Fling in baseball.

Games will be at Oakland and Siegel and Stewarts Creek and Blackman will be in separate brackets. Blackman shut out Stewarts Creek 6-0 on Wednesday night to capture the regional championship.
