RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing I-24 from Stones River Bridge (MM 78.5) to East of the Bridge over CSX Railroad (MM 82)
- Friday April 8 at 8PM through Monday April 11 at 5AM, The I-24 eastbound exit ramp (81B) will be closed to traffic for saw cutting of existing concrete pavement. This ramp will be closed Friday April 8 at 8 PM and reopened to traffic by approximately 3 AM Saturday April 9. Additionally, traffic will be shifted on the I-24 eastbound on-ramp to Chattanooga from Church Street, the I-24 eastbound exit ramp (81A), and on the I-24 westbound on-ramp to Nashville from Hwy 99, for saw cutting of existing concrete ramp pavement. Traffic will be shifted on the ramp to allow the ramp to remain open to traffic.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on SIA Route Serving Nissan North America
- From now through August 2016, Singer Road, from North Broad Street to the Nissan North America entrance, will be closed to through traffic. This closure will remain in place until the project has been completed or until 8/31/16. Local business access within the project limits will be provided.
- Friday April 8, 6:30AM to 7:00PM, Northbound North Broad Street shoulder will be closed at Singer Road, for work on overhead power lines. This closure will remain in place for Friday, April 8 only. Additionally, a rolling road block will be required for North Broad Street to allow new lines to be pulled across travel lanes.
RUTHERFORD and WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65, SR 840
- Thursday April 7 through Wednesday April 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in Williamson & Rutherford Counties from MM 28 (US 31/Columbia Pike) to MM 31 (US 431/Lewisburg Pike) to MM 31 and MM 55 (US 41/Northwest Broad St.) to MM 65 (SR 452/Bill France Rd). To allow for asphalt repair & patching. At least one lane in both directions will remain open at all times.

Murfreesboro City Road Construction Projects for week of April 11
Bridge over Broad Street TDOT Project
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: There will be alternating lane closures on NW Broad Street, Ridgley Road and W College Street for underground utility crossing. There will be lane shifts and traffic interruptions. Broadmor Blvd is closed to through traffic for utility crossing and general construction work. W Lytle Street and a short segment of College St and Burton St are also closed to traffic for construction work. Retaining wall work continues as part of the southwest and southeast ramps for the new overpass. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Sewer Pump Station Project (NW Broad St at Battlefield Pkwy)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5 pm: Contractor for Water & Sewer Department will be installing sewer lines within TDOT right-of-way/Battlefield Pkwy. A small section of Battlefield Pkwy is closed. Underground bore work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
W Lytle Street Relocation Project (NW Broad St to Barker St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: W Lytle Street is also closed to traffic at NW Broad Street for construction work. Underground utility work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Middle Tennessee Widening Project (Greenland Dr to E Main St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: The contractor has implemented the next phase of the traffic control plan on Middle Tennessee Blvd. Traffic on Middle Tennessee Blvd has been shifted to the east side and reduced to two lanes between E Main St and Greenland Dr (near the tennis courts). E Lytle St is closed at Middle Tennessee Blvd. The section of E Lytle St between N Bilbro Ave and Middle Tennessee Blvd are only open to local traffic. Appropriate traffic controls and detours signs will be in place.

TDOT Roadway Improvement Project (Singer Road between NW Broad St and CSX Railroad)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, August 31: The contractor for TDOT will be closing Singer Rd between NW Broad St and CSX Tracks to make roadway improvements. Access to and from businesses and residents will be from Florence Road. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
New Sewer Service Installation Work (Capt Joe Fulghum Dr just north of Middle Tennessee Blvd)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm: Contractor for a private development will be installing sewer service on Capt Joe Fulghum Dr. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Private Development Paving Work (Saint Andrews Dr at Belle Haven Cove)
Expected Lane Closures: Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Contractor for a private development will be overlaying a trench patch on Saint Andrews Dr at Belle Haven Cove. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Private Development Roadway Improvement Work (Veterans Pkwy just north of Old Fort Pkwy)
Expected Minor Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Contractor for a private development will be performing roadway improvement on Veterans Pkwy just north of Old Fort Pkwy. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
