Sewer Pump Station Project (NW Broad St at Battlefield Pkwy)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 5 pm: Contractor for Water & Sewer Department will be installing sewer lines within TDOT right-of-way/Battlefield Pkwy. A small section of Battlefield Pkwy is closed. Underground bore work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
W Lytle Street Relocation Project (NW Broad St to Barker St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am: W Lytle Street is also closed to traffic at NW Broad Street for construction work. Underground utility work continues. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Middle Tennessee Widening Project (Greenland Dr to E Main St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday: The contractor has implemented the next phase of the traffic control plan on Middle Tennessee Blvd. Traffic on Middle Tennessee Blvd has been shifted to the east side and reduced to two lanes between E Main St and Greenland Dr (near the tennis courts). E Lytle St is closed at Middle Tennessee Blvd. The section of E Lytle St between N Bilbro Ave and Middle Tennessee Blvd are only open to local traffic. Starting Sunday, May 8 to Friday May 13, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, Middle Tennessee Blvd between Greenland Dr and E. Main St will be reduced to a moving one lane flagging operation for utility crossing work. Appropriate traffic controls and detours signs will be in place.
TDOT Roadway Improvement Project (Singer Road between NW Broad St and CSX Railroad)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday, March 14 – Wednesday, August 31: The contractor for TDOT will be closing Singer Rd between NW Broad St and CSX Tracks to make roadway improvements. Access to and from businesses and residents will be from Florence Road. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Private Development Roadway Improvement Work (Veterans Pkwy just north of Old Fort Pkwy)
Expected Minor Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Contractor for a private development will be performing roadway improvement on Veterans Pkwy just north of Old Fort Pkwy. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
New Sewer Service Installation Work (Hickerson Dr between W Castle St and S Front St)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm: Contractor for a private development will be installing sewer service on Hickerson Dr. There will be minor traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
Utility Installation Work(Burton St & Church St and Lytle St and Church St)
Expected Lane Closures: Tuesday & Wednesday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm: Construction crews will be installing utility lines at Burton St and Church St and at Lytle St and Church St. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls and detours will be in place.
Traffic Signal Loop Repair Work (E Main St at Baird Lane)
Expected Lane Closures: Friday, May 6,12:00 am to 6:00 am: Contractor for a private development will be re-cutting traffic signal loops on E Main St at Baird Lane. Traffic on E Main St will be reduced to one-lane flagging operation. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
Comcast Underground Fiber Installation Project (Asbury Rd at Florence Rd)
Expected No Lane Closures: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm: Contractor for Comcast will be installing underground fiber optic lines along Asbury Rd just west of Florence Rd. Traffic on Asbury Rd and Florence Rd will be affected by this operation. There will be no lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
Private Development New Entrance Driveway Work (909 N Thompson Ln – just south of Gateway Blvd)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday & Tuesday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: Contractor for a private development will be installing a new driveway entrance onto N Thompson Ln just south of Gateway Blvd. Southbound traffic on Thompson Ln will be reduced from two lanes to one lane through the work area. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Northbound traffic will not be affected. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Eastbound traffic on Joe B Jackson Pkwy will be reduced from two lanes to one lane through the work area. There will be lane closures and traffic interruptions. Westbound traffic will not be affected. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.
City of Murfreesboro Traffic Signal Maintenance Work (Broad Street between Mercury Blvd and Florence Rd)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Thursday, Weather Permitting, 8:00 pm to 6:00 pm: City Traffic Signal Contractor will be performing maintenance work on the traffic signals along Broad Street between Mercury Blvd and Florence Rd. There will be minor lane closures and traffic interruptions. All work will be done at night. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
TDOT Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project (New Salem Hwy at I-24)
Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday: 9 am to 3 pm and 7 pm to 6 am, There will be a possible right lane closure on SR 99 eastbound (New Salem Hwy) at the I-24 eastbound on-ramp to work on the adjustment of the CCTV camera. One lane will remain open. Appropriate traffic controls will be in place.
