November 5, 2025 – The MTSU Police Department and the Murfreesboro Police Department responded to an MPD 911 call of possible shots fired at the Stuart Hall Apartments.
Due to the proximity to the MTSU campus, MTSU police sent out an alert message to inform everyone of the large police presence and possible danger in the area.
Law enforcement reports that the shots-fired call was not substantiated.
