Football University, a program supporting students in grades 6-12 to improve on and off the field, utilizes NFL football coaches and players to train young athletes during the summer through a host of short-term camps that focus not only on technique but on strength building in both character and body. The appeal to attend these camps can be great for the student, especially that is trying to up their game in the sport as many of today’s recent great players were involved in it at some point in their early careers as well. As a parent though, you may be eager to get some alone time to yourself and away from your sport driven teenager.

The great news is that there are more than 20 camp locations throughout the United States. One of the earliest dates is right here in the Nashville area June 2-3 in Thompson’s Station off Independence Drive. However, there are plenty more locations coming up if those dates don’t work for you including: Kansas City, Twin Cities,
Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Ohio, Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Bay Area
Connecticut, Seattle, and Boston. See a complete list of upcoming camps here.

It’s easy to register for these camps. You can visit their website to apply and fill out the profile for your student. The process also goes faster if you fill out an application as well, but no worries if you’re not ready to commit right then, because the player development staff will reach out to you within 48 hours to discuss your football goals and how Football University can help you achieve them.
