When you’re ready to get rid of your live Christmas tree, there are several places across Rutherford County where you can take your tree to be recycled.

Trees are shredded and then used as mulch or even on the trails in parks so be sure to clean your tree before donating. There must be no tinsel, lights, tree stand, ornaments, bags, flocking, plastic wrapping, or any other decorations.
