Deputy Laura Kunce was selected as Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office’s Deputy of the Month for September 2024 for her contributions of recruitment efforts! According to Captain Angela Istvanditsch, who nominated her, Deputy Kunce’s hard work led to the recruitment of 113 employees in one year.
“Deputy Kunce has shown remarkable dedication to enhancing our agency’s visibility and attracting top talent,” Istvanditsch said.
The Sheriff’s Office says she played a key role in developing a comprehensive recruiting website and creating engaging graphics for the Sheriff’s Office’s recruiting car, significantly boosting the agency’s profile at events, the captain said. Captain Istvanditsch said her designs for a recruiting coin, fliers and social media posts have effectively communicated the need for dedicated individuals, she said.
“Deputy Kunce has organized and participated in numerous recruiting events where her engaging personality has left a lasting impression on prospective candidates,” Istvanditsch said.
