Puckett’s Gro. in downtown Murfreesboro will team up with local organizations to host a series of trivia nights. The first event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

With a rotating sponsorship from the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring and Brainblast Entertainment, the Puckett’s trivia events will take place on a monthly basis. Each night will take on a different theme, and the Nov. 20 trivia will center around STEAM-related topics with a touch of pop culture.

The restaurant held similar events in July and September and had great success. Sally Mink, Marketing Director for A. Marshall Hospitality, said the goal is to bring fun and exciting events to the people of Murfreesboro more often.

“We are constantly looking for ways to get involved in the Murfreesboro community,” said Mink. “Everyone had such a wonderful time at our previous trivia nights, so we decided to make this a monthly event!”

Other monthly trivia nights are scheduled for December 18, January 15, February 19, March 19, April 16 and May 21.

In addition to hosting the monthly trivia series, Puckett’s Murfreesboro continues to support the community in various ways. Most recently, Puckett’s Murfreesboro hosted a benefit concert to support the 42nd Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days, and the event raised $800 in one evening. The downtown eatery has also started a new delivery service, offering delivery within walking distance around the square from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trivia night attendees are encouraged to make reservations by calling the restaurant at (629) 201-6916. For more information on the Nov. 20 event, please visit the Facebook page.
