A. Marshall Family Foods — the company behind the popular Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant — is committed to giving back to the communities in which its restaurants are planted. On Wednesday, May 10, Puckett’s Gro. in Murfreesboro will launch a “Ten for Tucker’s House” campaign, pledging to donate 10% of the entire day’s sales to Tucker’s House, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the families of children with disabilities.

The family-owned eatery, which opened the doors to its fifth location of Puckett’s Gro. on the downtown Murfreesboro square three months ago — invites the community to ‘dine for a cause’ on May 10 to support the campaign’s efforts. In honor of the Tucker’s House mission and the four local children it is currently working to serve, Puckett’s will have sheets available for children diners to color that will be given to the Tucker’s House families as books of encouragement.

Tucker’s House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was developed to partner with families of children with disabilities up to the age of 22 years old and their healthcare providers to provide assistance through specialized retrofitting resources to meet their specific immediate, intermediate and long term needs that make their home accessible, safe and an environment to where the children can achieve their potential.

About Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurant
With locations in downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville, downtown Columbia and Chattanooga, the Puckett’s roots go way back to the 1950s, and a little grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Ever since then, we’ve been focused on providing friends new and old with great food and Southern hospitality.

When it comes down to it, Puckett’s is a community kitchen, with live pickin’ performances just a few feet from your table. Authentic comfort food—barbecue smoked slow ‘n’ low over cherry wood, the home-cooked sides, even a few upscale dishes—is what Puckett’s aims for you to remember.
