On 5/26/17 at 0348 hours Officer A responded to 2850 Middle Tennessee Blvd for shots fired. Upon arrival and surveying the area the officer discovered nine spent shell casings scattered along the connecting road from Middle Tennessee Blvd to New Lascassas Pike.

The casings were spread out in such a way that they appeared to have been fired from a moving vehicle.  Also found in the parking lot of 2850 was an ID for [ NAME OMITTED , referred to here as Man A ] in front of [ APARTMENT # OMITTED ]. The apartment was also named by the complainant as where the shots happened near.

After making contact at the apartment, a white female ( referred to here as Woman A ) answered the door and stated she was home alone.

A short time later it was discovered that two other individuals were in fact inside, one being Man A.

Throughout the time with the three occupants none of their stories matched each other’s.  A consensual search of the apartment revealed no gun but there was a bullet strike in the living room floor. That was determined to have happened at an earlier time according to the neighbor.

During the search is when Man A was found hiding under a bed, presumably because he had a warrant for his arrest. Man A was taken into custody for that and booked in to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.

Two other subjects were in the residence prior to the shots fired but supposedly left well before the incident and were not involved. That would be a female named [ OMITTED ] and a black male named [ OMITTED ].

The .40 caliber shell casings that were still testable were collected and logged in as evidence to the police department records section.
