Description Of Offense : Assault (Simple)
On 5/1/2018 Officer A responded to the Kroger at 2050 Lascassas Pike in reference to an assault. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the victim/complainant.
The complainant stated that he got into a road rage situation with a white male at Kroger. The white male walked up to his vehicle and pushed the door shut on him. The complainant was able to get out of his vehicle and got into a verbal argument with the white male. The complainant then reached into his vehicle and the white male said he had a gun in his vehicle. He also told the complainant he was going to ” catch some hands.” The complainant felt threatened and called the police.
Another officer made contact with the white male at his residence. The white male stated that there was no assault and he thought the complainant was going for a weapon when he reached into his vehicle so he said he had a gun.
Both were advised of the warrants process and released.
