
Description of Offense : Simple Assault
On 5/28/18 at approximately 10:29AM Officer A responded to 2263 Memorial Blvd (Bojangles) in reference to an assault. Upon arrival the officer observed a vehicle leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The officer stopped the vehicle on Memorial Blvd in front of the post office and identified the passenger (referred to here as Woman A) who was the suspect in question for the assault.
Woman A stated that the complainant (referred to here as Woman B) was real close talking to her and yelling, meanwhile the biscuit she was making was in her hand she threw it on the ground and walked off. Woman B told the officer that Woman A threw the biscuit at her, striking the right side of her face. Woman B requested a report for the assault and was advised of the warrants process.
Woman A was relieved of her job and was trespassed from the location. The driver of the vehicle was issued a misdemeanor citation for driving on a suspended license.
