Description Of Offense : Armed Robbery , Theft Over $1000
On 8/26/2017 at approximately 2157 hours Officer A was dispatched via 911 to 519 S.E. Broad Street in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival the officer made contact with two employees who stated a black male wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and a white clown mask came into the back of O’Reilly’s and pointed a silver revolver at them while demanding money.
Both employees stated that the individual had facial hair and was African American due to seeing his hands and parts of his face through the mask. They stated the subject directed them to the cash register where he took approximately $1850.00 in cash and fled out of the back door.
Detectives took over the investigation.
