Police Report : Gas station argument leads to gun threat

Description of Offense : Aggravated Assault

On 5/11/18 at 1841 hours Officer A responded to 2610 S. Church in regards to an aggravated assault. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the complainant who advised he had been assaulted / threatened with a gun.

The complainant advised while in line at the Circle K he was involved in a verbal altercation with the cashier. The complainant advised during this time an unknown white male about 60-64 years of age was standing behind him. The complainant advised the man told him to shut up and move on. However, the complainant continued to argue with the cashier. The complainant advised the unknown man then raised his shirt brandishing a black semi-auto handgun and stated, ” it’s best you shut up and move on. ”

The complainant stated he paid for his things and called the police because he feared for his safety. The subject drove off in a red, possibly Toyota pick-up.
