Description Of Offense : Fraud, Theft Under $1000
On 4/9/18, Officer A spoke with the complainant via public service in reference to fraud. The complainant stated on 4/4/18 she went through the drive-thru at 1702 Memorial Blvd (Taco Bell) and used her card to pay.
The complainant stated that the cashier seemed “odd” and within a couple hours of her leaving she received notifications of charges being made in Gainesville, FL. The complainant stated the first charge was $150 at GameStop (in-store) in Gainesville, FL. That charge has not been reimbursed yet but additional charges were attempted but declined due to the complainant cancelling her card.
The complainant also contacted Gainesville Police Department.
The suspect was described as a white male, shoulder length brown hair, 19-21 years old, possibly named Alex ( cashier’s name ) .
