Description of Offense : Reckless Endangerment, Vandalism Over $1000, Recovered Property
On 5/13/18 at 0348 hours, Officer A arrived at the 1512 through 1516 area on Benley Street in reference to a call of shots fired in the area with multiple callers. One caller stated his A/C unit was struck at [ADDRESS OMITTED]. While on scene the officer observed the back door of [ADDRESS OMITTED] to have been struck by three rounds which traveled through the apartment.
Another officer spoke to the residents of the apartment with the door that had been struck by the bullets both of whom were asleep at the time of shots being fired and did not observe anyone in the area. A detective photographed and processed the scene, collecting four 9mm shell casings that were located next to a tree behind the apartment. No suspect information was available at the time of this report.
