Description Of Offense : Armed Robbery, Theft Over $1000
On 7/28/2017 at approximately 2157, Officer A was dispatched to 720 East Castle Street in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival Officer A made contact with the three victims ( referred to here as Victims A, B and C ). All three victims stated that two black males pulled up in front of [ APT # OMITTED ] at 720 E Castle Street. They stated a slim a slim black male with dreadlocks exited the vehicle with a black semi-automatic gun and demanded they empty their pockets.
They stated that the male fired one shot into the ground and made them get face down on the ground while he took all of their belongings. Victim A had his debit and credit card taken along with $600.00 and his passport. Victim B had his phone and $900.00 taken. Victim A also had his phone taken and Victim C had his wallet and $650.00 taken from him.
The complainant along with the victims described the suspect as the black male described earlier wearing a black tank top with black pants and a multi-color head garment. They all stated that the subject entered a black four door sedan that is possibly a Chevy Malibu with the driver wearing a white shirt.
A detective was notified and took over the investigation.
