A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Friday.
It happened on South Church Street at I-24. Emergency responders rushed the man to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities shut down the roadway as they investigated the crash. It has since reopened.
