·        Saturday, March 19, 7:00 a.m. Traffic on I-65 in both directions from Old Hickory Blvd. to Briley Parkway will be temporarily stopped during blasting.

·        Saturday, March 19, 12 p.m. (noon) – 5 p.m. I-65 northbound will continue to have 1-2 lanes closed until crews complete clearing material and equipment from the roadway.

The blasting operations are part of a slope stabilization project on I-65 northbound between Old Hickory Blvd. and Briley Parkway. The purpose of the project is to provide a better clear zone for motorists and correct ongoing maintenance concerns with the existing slope.

The $1.5 million project is expected to be finished at the end of May 2016.
