Official Statement On Roy Waldron School Evacuation

Hello LaVergne Primary School and Roy Waldron parents,

This is James Evans with Rutherford County Schools and I am calling you with an important message concerning LaVergne Primary School. All students are safe, but the gas company has reported a possible gas leak outside of the school, and so we are moving all LaVergne Primary School students over to Roy Waldron School until the gas company can fix the leak. The students will all be fed lunch at Roy Waldron.   Again, this is only a precaution and all students at both schools are safe.

We are sending you this message to keep you informed and so that parents won’t worry when they hear about an evacuation. We will let you know once the issue has been resolved.
