Willie Charles “TD” Todd, age 86, passed away at his residence on May 9, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County and retired Sales Supervisor with Bunny Bread after 30 years.
He was a proud supporter of the Tennessee Vols and enjoyed spending time on the golf course. He was a dedicated father, loving grandfather, and a hard worker who was respected and well-loved in his industry. As a preacher’s son and man of faith, he was also a member of Walter Hill Baptist Church.
He supported charitable causes close to his heart, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jonathan Todd and Mary Elizabeth Phelps Todd; wife, Frankie Bragg Todd; brothers, Rolly Todd and Roy Todd; and sisters, Jean Alsup, Peggy Banks and Wanda Nipper.
He is survived by sons, Mike Todd, Kevin Todd; daughter, Annette Bales and husband Pat; step-daughters, Vicki Grubb, Kim Dawson, Kris Smith; brother, Frank Todd; sister, Lois Loyd; grandchildren, Shelby Cooper, Todd Bales, Michael Todd, Charlie Todd, Travis Todd, Ian Karsen, Hayley Dawson, Alyssa Grubb and Amber Powell; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2025 and 11:00 AM-1:00 PM, Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
Chapel service officiated by Brother Shelby Smith will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Jennings and Ayers. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
