Mr. William “Louis” Wilson, age 93, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He was born in Fulton, KY to the late Allie Louis and Bura Herron Wilson. Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Betty Jean Wilson. He and retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co.,
Peoria, Il. and they moved to Murray, KY and eventually Murfreesboro. For the past twenty years, they attended Salem Creek Church of Christ, formerly known as Minerva Drive Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Wilson is survived by; four children, Ladonna Brown of Brentwood, Marilyn R. Hafley of Murfreesboro, Wendell Wilson and his wife Carol of Murfreesboro, and Gina L. Graves of Murfreesboro; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
He was a proud WWII Veteran, a faithful Christian, and loving father and doting grandfather. He was well loved and will be sorely missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew him.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, November 16, 2018, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Ron Harper will officiate. Burial will take place following the funeral at Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro, TN.
