William Dan “Moose” Jamison, age 49, passed away December 27, 2018 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was a native of Murfreesboro and has lived here all of his life. Dan worked at Consolidated Water Department and Perfect Equipment Company. He was a member of Haynes Chapel United Methodist Church.
Dan was a graduate of Oakland High School. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing, especially fishing with PaPa Jones. He liked country and gospel music, and old western movies. Dan was known for having a kind, loving heart.
Dan was preceded in death by his first wife, Angie Sledge Jamison; grandparents, Robert and Era Jones; Gladstone and Monta Jamison. He is survived by his parents, William Gladstone and Betty Dorothy Jones Jamison; wife, Kim Hall Jamison, sons, William Dakota Jamison, Dakota Lee (Rachel) Jones; and sister, Kathy (Buddy) Hoover, Becky (Steve) Shofner; nieces, Kayla (Travis) Shofner, Cadence Shofner, Ainsley Hausladen; nephews, Kyle (Angela) Shofner and Sabin Shofner; and grandchildren, Averia and Phoebe Jones..
Visitation with the family will be 12:00 until time of chapel service at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 31, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Paschall officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
