Sharon Ann Sturgeon passed suddenly on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Smyrna, Tennessee.
Preceded in death by parents, Ishmael Dean and Emma Gladys Sturgeon; brother, Dean Wesley Sturgeon; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Sturgeon Rice.
She is survived by children, Janet Culbertson Hosea, Jimmy (Karen) Culbertson and Jennifer Culbertson; grandsons, Seth (Linda) Wesley and Jace Hosea; great-grandsons, Mason and Henry Wesley; niece, Kelly Sturgeon Rogers; nephew, Jeremiah (Stephanie) Rice; great-nephews, Wesley Rogers, Alex, Braden and Ashton Rice.
Born in Bloomington, Illinois, she moved to Nashville in 1959. She graduated from Glencliff High School in 1962 and worked for South Central Bell for many years. She loved sports, but her beloved Chicago Cubs were her #1 favorite team.
She loved her family and fur babies greatly and was always proud of everything her family did, big or small.
She was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN.
