Sandra Porterfield Green, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018; after a long illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County. Sandra was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she was proud member of the choir. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a revenue agent and was a former English teacher in Cleveland, TN and Bell Buckle, TN.
Sandra was preceded in death by parents Alvah and Bertha Porterfield; brother, Kenneth Porterfield; and sister, Doris Ann Porterfield. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey William Green; daughter, Kerrie Green; husband, Howard Reams; sister, June Hoge; and grandchildren McKinley Green, Andon Green, and Lillian Green.A service will be held 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 29, 2018, in Jennings and Ayers Chapel. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
