Ruth Hensley, age 81, passed away August 11, 2019 at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Ruth was a native of Rutherford County and retired from Rutherford Hospital.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, William Hensley and Elizabeth Spradling Gambrel; brother, Wayne Hensley, Curt Hensley; and sister, Mary Eller Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Charles) Ray; sisters, Ann Mahan, June McWilliams and Betty Campbell; grandchildren, Shane Ray, Misty Vaughn; and great-grandchildren, Jude Vaughn and Lily Ray.
Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 PM, August 13, 2019 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 3145 N. Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro. A memorial service will follow at 5:00 PM with Charles Ray officiating.
