Mr. Ronald Alan Girts, a resident of Rutherford County, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his residence, he was 69 years old.
He was a native of Evanston, IL, and a resident of Rutherford County working as a Crossing Guard with the Murfreesboro Police Department. Ronald served in the Navy for 7 years and Army National Guard for 8 years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, William Girts, Jr. and Margaret Moyle; and brothers, Jeff Moyle and Ronald Moyle.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Gibson; children, Angie Carter, Shawn (Daphne) Girts, Lujie Beever, Philip (Sarah) Moyle, Andrew Gibson, and Elizabeth Gibson; siblings, Kim Girts, Rick Girts, Tracy (Russell) Boynton, Dorrie Meyer, Jodi (Tim) Beckham, Heather (Joel) Wood, Gregg Moyle, Barbara Ackerson, Richard (Deb) Moyle, Thomas (Patty) Moyle, Debra McGhee and Robert (Diane) Kenneth Moyle, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jennings and Ayers to help with the cost of his service.
