Peggy Watkins – Age 86 of Murfreesboro, TN. July 28, 2026. Mrs. Watkins retired from St. Thomas Hospital where she worked as an LPN Nurse for many years. She was a faithful member of the Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna.
Preceded in death by husband, Robert Watkins; and brothers, Billy Birdwell and Jim Birdwell. Survived by sons, Mark Watkins and Jonathan (Jeana) Watkins; grandchildren, Jacob (Julia) Watkins, Jared Watkins and Jadyn Watkins; and sister, Judy Hardaway.
Funeral services will be conducted by Jonathan Watkins on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (visitation 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
