Michael L. Yancey, age 67, passed away September 12, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. He was born in Ripley, TN and has lived most of his life in the surrounding Nashville area.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Theadore and Ruby Haynes Yancey. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Anderson Yancey; sons, Michael Shane Yancey, Sean Douglas Hicks; daughters, Melissa Michelle Parrish, Dena Irene Underwood; brothers, Thomas Yancey, Roger Yancey; sister, Ruby Tidwell; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be 11:00 am till 1:00 PM, Friday, September 14, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
